Old Glory The flag was painted on these trees for a local resident. It is in memory of ten of his friends who lost
their lives on September 11, 2001. They were having breakfast in the Windows on the World Restaurant in the World Trade Center. This photo is my best seller. It has been purchased to be given as a gift to someone serving or has served our
country. It is also popular to hang in an office. To read more about Old Glory, click here.
Old Glory in the Fall On September 8th, 2007,
a memorial service was held for those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Old Glory took its stand amoung
those who attended. Leading the service was a local unit of Korean War Veterans. It was a very moving ceremony with several
dignitaries present. I found out after the ceremony that even President Bush was invited, but due to his hectic schedule he
was unable to attend. Proclamations from Governor M. Jodi Rell and Senator Joseph Lieberman were read during the ceremony.
It was a priveledge to attend such a heartwarming ceremony.
