Washington Monument from across the Potomac - I just love this picture. A friend and I got up bright and early one morning during our annual conference and took a nice long walk. The sun was at a perfect level and the sky a perfect color. So I began snapping and snapping and snapping. I was very excited when I saw how it came out. The water was like glass and the reflection perfect.

Jefferson Memorial - Across the Tidal Basins/Potomac River, Washington DC.  Same walk... Same excitement when I saw how this came out. Such an awesome site.

In Memory of those who gave their lives for our freedom ~
Koren War Memorial - This is actually reflections of a platoon of statues of Korean Soldiers in the Korean War Veterans Memorial Wall. If you look real close you will see images etched in the wall which look straight out from the wall over the platoon of statues; the soldiers they were there to support. Included are etchings of the U.S. Army, Air Force and Navy.  Many thanks to all those who gave their lives for their country.

Couldn't resist. I had my friend take this of me. Pretty cool, isn't it?
