My Guest Book

An yet another picture taken in Washington. I had walked out the back door of the hotel to take sunset pictures of the Jefferson Memorial and came upon this bottle and glass of wine. It was left on a table from a wedding held earlier in the day. I loved the way the sun picked up the reflection of the tree in the glass.

My husband and I were sitting on the deck of Mocca Coffee House in Newtown (where I had my pictures on display last summer) when I spotted this view over his shoulder. I zoomed in and snapped. It reminded me of a quaint little French restaurant. I titled it Le Restaruant.  We went there for lunch on Valentine's Day. While it's not a french restaurant, they do serve awesome hamburgers and to die for sweet potatoe fries. It's called 100 Church Hill Restaurant. Stop in if you get a chance. You won't be sorry.

I love this picture.  It's a picture of my girlfriend's grandkids. The day was sooooo hot and they were soooo good. We were out in the hot sun for at least an hour and they did everything I asked them. A photographer's dream come true. This was one of the last shots I took. Such beautiful innocence. - I enhanced it in Photoshop to make it look like a painting. Thanks, Joyce for the opportunity to photograph your beautiful grandkids.

I made this little card from a photo I took this fall at what used to be my great-grandparent's homested. We went there earlier this summer after a family reunion nearby. It broke our hearts, especially my dad's to see that the old farmhouse was no longer there. It was torn down and buried. This is all that is left.  But it was so beautiful that my husband and I went back again in October to capture all the beauty with the beauty of the colors in the trees.
As I sat and just looked.... I could hear coyotes off in the distance. I half expected Indians to come out of the woods. It was totally awesome something I will always keep close to my heart.
